Sleeping Rough - Sharon's Help and Hope

Feeding the Homeless of Worcester

Winter. Rain and wind, snow perhaps, but nothing to worry about when viewed from the warmth of your living room ... but what if you have no home this winter. What if you don't know where your next meal is coming from?

Sharon's Help & Hope Project, headed by Sharon Multani, is feeding the homeless of Worcester and supplying them with the necessary items to make their lives easier. With a dedicated team of volunteers, Sharon is supplying them with sleeping bags, warm clothes and, most importantly, hot meals on a regular basis but all of this takes money. To this end, a brave group of volunteers - Gemma Louise Scott, Jill Bridger, Sharon Multani, Jayne Driscoll, Lizzie Jaw, Sue Avery, Irene Kennaway and more to be confirmed - are sleeping rough overnight on the streets of Worcester on December 8th in an attempt to raise £1000 to fund the project through the New Year.

It costs £50 a week to keep this project going, and £30 to supply someone with the essentials (new top and trousers, underwear and basic toiletries) they need when they find somewhere to live, and we need your help to make this happen. £1, £5, £10, donate whatever you can to help these people make it through their difficult times. Feed them, clothe them and give them hope - you can make that happen. Thank you.
