I have been thinking about building this ramp idea for a year or so but since I've been in university I haven't had the time or the money to be able to do this. I've been skating for years now and in total taking into account the weather, out door skateparks are only skatable for about 3 or 4 months of the year; We have no indoor skateparks nearby. I've designed and am looking to build this project by myself, for others to be able to use. I don't live far from the skatepark and people will be able to use it during the winter months. I am looking to raise about 1,100. As this is a pretty big project and with the cost of sheltering it and lighting it costing more too.
I have some basic power tools I will be using, so the money I manage to raise will all be going to wood and screws to be able to build this project.
I would really appreciate if you could share this about. Its going to cost about 1,400 which is a lot of money for a student, so if a lot of people donate small amounts that they won't notice being gone, it can help me complete this project before the bad weather comes in fully.
This project may not benifit you, but if you would like to help grow skating community and allow people to learn all through the year this is your chance.
Thank you all for reading and I will appreciate every donation and will update on the projects progress as I build.
