About the project
Southampton comes together over 7 weeks in worship, where the churches organisation in Southampton are collaborating with schools, universities, colleges and ordinary men and women through creative arts, song, dance and poetry and more to be voice to the voiceless and also raise hope and funds for the persecuted around the globe.
Project aim
Southampton’s community event, to raise funds for 30 persecuted countries on behalf of Release International Organisation.
About Release International organisation
Is a non-profit organisation charity. They help to support by campaigning for those who have been imprisoned for their faith, providing practical support and comfort for those who are suffering around the world at the hands of dictatorship, ideologies and extreme views. ‘Seven weeks of worship’ event is using Southampton’s talents to raise hope and funds on behalf of the charity, actively working closely with these countries including, middle east, Africa and Europe.
The volunteers of the community event have contributed to the cost of the running of the event, however we need further support for the running of the rest of the event and towards equipment.

10th, 17th, 24th and 31st October at Hoglands Park, Southampton 4pm - 7pm
7th November - Event Finale in Hoglands Park, Southampton 4pm - 7pm
