Martins Croft Play Area Project was started to improve Martins Croft Play Area in Colerne and to make it suitable for children with disabilities and additional needs.
We have created a wonderful inclusive and fun place to be but there aren’t any plants or flowers in it. We hope to install raised beds full of sensory plants which will also attract butterflies and other insects.
A local gardener has kindly volunteered to run free children’s gardening and nature workshops. Children of different ages and abilities will plant seeds and nurture plants as well as making bug a hotel and other items to attract insects and wildlife.
We have applied for grants for the raised beds but we need to raise money for seeds, plants, compost and seed trays to make this happen.
Please help us!
