My very dear friend Jo died in 2017, almost a year to the day after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. She was immediately operated on and lost her memory, speech and sight and for her remaining year she endured gruelling treatments which despite the amazing staff at Southampton General was in vain. Jo left behind her now 8 and 5 year old daughters, both of whom cannot really remember their Mummy. Jo's wonderful Grandparents, her sister and husband are working miracles supporting her two beautiful girls.
Jo's 8 year old, Isabella admitted over Christmas she was desperate to see the Strictly Come Dancing Tour but tickets for the only show her grandmother can take her too is sold out. A ticket company have secured 9 VIP experience tickets so Isabella can go with her close friends and their Mummies but the cost in total is £1602. I wish dearly I could afford this wonderful treat but cannot, I am desperately hoping that I can secure that money asap to give her this much wanted day out for her and her friends.
Jo's husband and I have raised money for charity in her memory but not asked for a penny towards the children and they have never asked for anything apart from the heartbreaking long nights of tears and frustration where they miss their wonderful Mummy so so much.
Thank you so so much for reading my story and for any help you can give.
