I have been presented with the opportunity to attend one of the most prestige diving training camps in America in August 2017 and would love some support to help me raise money. I am hoping to raise £1000 towards the cost of my trip and I am doing some other local fundraising events to help me achieve this total.
Every year the training camp welcomes coaches and athletes from all over the world and would be an amazing opportunity for me to build on my technical ability and further develop my knowledge and skills within the sport.
I have aspirations to one day compete at an elite standard and am very focused and driven to get to where I want to be.
Having only been diving for a year and a half, I earned the 2016 Irish National Champion title in my first competitive season and was selected to represent Team Ireland at the diving Tri-Nations in Wales.
I have started this competitive season on a good foot not only achieving gold in my category but achieving a personal best total and personal best scores in numerous individual dives.
Any surplus money raised during my fundraising events will be donated to my diving club 'Diving Academy Northern Ireland' to help alleviate travelling costs associated with sending qualifying divers to the October 2017 Tri Nations in Edinburgh.
