We set up plastic free falmouth in late 2017, since then we've gone from strength to strength, building a new wave of environmentally aware individuals, businesses and groups. We followed the surfers against Sewage guidelines and were awarded Plastic Free status in April 2018. We've worked closely with the local council on many projects and within our local community we have a strong track record for doing an awful lot, with not very much other than passion and time.
We have a now set up a new community interest company, Seas for the future, to finance this ongoing work and build upon it. We can now apply for grants and achieve even bigger and better things in our community.
We have decided priority number one is to purchase and trial a sea bin in the harbour. These cost £3000, but constantly clean the section of the ocean they are placed in.
If you can spare any change to help us buy and install a Sea bin it would allow us to continue to effect positive change within our community
