Too many horses in the equine industry are thrown on the scrap heap when they are no longer able to do there job or haven't had the chance to prove themselves. Many of these horses are seen as just a number and there for profit so are seen as worthless and a drain when they are no longer producing results for there owners. So many of these horses end up in terrible situations having been given away or sold cheap just to dispose of them which results in them being passed around from pillar to post purely because they are misunderstood and end up in inexperienced homes. So many horses and ponies are neglected and mistreated ending up in a poor state. The lucky ones end up at an equine charity where they are rehabilitated and safe again having the care they deserve. These charities are struggling and at capacity, they need help so they can help more of these amazing animals. I have several so called "scrap heap" horses who are now happy and content with me. I have a few who are now being ridden and enjoying life after time and patience rehabilitating them. These horses and myself are now taking on the challenge of doing long distance rides to raise awareness and much needed funding for these charities, a special way for my horses to help others in need. I'm looking for funding from this page to help keep us running, keeping these horses fit and healthy so they can do these rides for charity is a constant expense. All donations both small and large will be greatly appreciated. We will be putting together a site so people can follow our adventure and the good it can do for as many horses and ponies in need. Thankyou for reading and showing interest in our cause.
