School help for Harry after Meningitis.

School help for Harry after Meningitis.

To raise money to pay the fees of a school to send Meningitis affected Harry (deafness and eye problems) and his adopted sister, Millie

We did it!

On 24th Apr 2017 we successfully raised £200 with 1 supporter in 56 days

In 2014, we almost lost  our little son, Harry to meningitis.  He hovered between life and death for two days before we knew he would survive and he was hospitalised for weeks afterwards. He was just under 2 years of age.

The devastating illness left him with impaired hearing and vision, and he has endured two operations on his eyes already. He has just 50% hearing. He is a very bright little boy and we hope to send him to a local school where the classes are small. Here, his impaired hearing will have less impact  because of reduced classroom noise. The school has fees.

In 2015 we adopted Millie.  Millie came from very dysfunctional parents. We would also hope to send Millie to the same school as Harry, so they can share their school experiences. Harry is nearly five and Millie is three.

We are looking to raise money to enable us to send Harry and Millie to this local school to give them both a better  chance to overcome the adversities they have already faced in their young lives.

Every penny raised will help. Thank you.
