We need high-quality evidence to get this over the line and put this incinerator idea to bed once and for all. It's an investment now to fight this, rather than waiting until its more expensive if the appeal succeeded. Say no to air pollution, "fake" green corporate policies, even more traffic on the A10, and long-term economic commitments to outdated technology.
This is an important cause - This intended waste incinerator could be dropping deadly particulate fallout around schools, stretches of two rivers, two National Trust sites, an English Heritage site... affecting the health of thousands of combined villagers living north of Cambridge. We need to prevent Amey Cespa from building this wretched contraption. It would have to accept 11 county's worth of waste, heavily congesting the already busy A10 with lorries loaded with rubbish. Not in my name; not in our villages. We HAVE to prevent this. We HAVE to tell Amey Cespa that it's not OK. They have to invest in a cleaner, more sustainable area of waste management that works for local residents and the environment.
