Saving Mill One

Dear all huge thanks for your support. I am delighted to say that our campaign has secured the funds needed to repair the roof of Mill One thanks to your support and some generous donations directly to us. This means we can undertake a repair to the roof giving us at least a five year life and this will enable us to take possession of the mill on a 99 year lease. Ultimately we will undertake a full renovation but whilst we pursue funding for this, we will be safe in the knowledge the mill is watertight and we can begin to repair some of the damage to the building. We hope to become the home to a number of textile and industrial machinery collections which are under threat so we can now tell people that they can be brought to the mill. Thank you once again for your support and we will contact those wishing certificates and the engine experience.
