;Clovelly has been home to donkeys for more than 100 years. In the past they carried goods up the famous cobbled streets. Now they lead a peaceful existence posing for photographs and giving rides to children. Sadly 2020 may be their last year at Clovelly unless we can raise enough money to pay for their feed and vet bills to get them through the Coronavius crisis. Sue and Bart Kelly, the owners of the donkeys, have lost their entire income as their business is seasonal and depends on tourism. They do not qualify for the government grant for small businesses. Will you help to keep the donkeys in Clovelly and Sue in her home in the village where she has lived for the last 40 years. She is having to move out of her little cottage to free up funds to feed the donkeys. The money that we hope to raise will be used to pay for hay, straw, cornfeed and vet bills to get them through to next year.
