New stretch target

We are allied with the Bristol Tree Forum.  Any extra additional funds we do not use will go towards setting up other groups and linking together in the local area to save urban trees.

This tree is a community asset and if you think about our lives, it is impossible to imagine a World without them. And yet, as more of our City becomes populated the more BCC (& planners) remove our mature urban trees.

Trees have many benefits on our streets and in our lives, Trees

Combat climate change and remove/ store Carbon from the environment.

Improve our health and mental well-being.

Clean to air and remove Pollutants  eg. Nitrogen dioxide and particulates.

Provides habitat & food for  birds, bats and squirrels, indeed mature Oaks can maintain hundreds of species of invertebrates.

Provide economic benefits, house prices can rise 5-18% when nearby.

Our art, literature and culture is full of references to trees, they are part of our Lives and must remain so.

You can help by viewing us on social media, signing our petition for BCC and giving a tiny amount to help us continue our campaign.
We require funds for:

Printing or flyers/ posters

Timber / building gear

Climbing kit

Thank you so much for being awesome and giving a little to help save this local well known beautiful Holm Oak.
