Two of Manchester’s iconic music venues - The Deaf Institute and Gorilla, risk being being closed down permanently.
We have already lost a too many Manchester music venues, Let’s chip together to help SAVE OUR CITY, and keep these venues alive.
In the words of Tony Wilson, ”This is Manchester, we do things differently here...”
If no one comes forward to purchase the venues, it is up to us, the public, to save them.
Anyone who has been to either venue knows how important they are, not only for our city, but for musicians, especially at grassroots level.
Please donate what you can in order to help save The Deaf Institute and Gorilla.
The more that we raise, the better chance we have of saving both The Deaf Institute and Gorilla.
Lets not leave things to chance and risk another property developer destroying our music scene.
Initially, we will look to raise enough money to successfully save one venue.
Hopefully, we can raise enough to save both venues.
Also, there are many jobs at risk, which we would love to be able to save.
Any money raised above the goal, will be used to manage the venues day to day and also invested into booking the best artists.
Lets keep these iconic venues alive!
In the event that the target is not reached, all donations will be returned.
Additionally, if the goal is met and another buyer is found, all funds will be used to help other great causes in the Greater Manchester Area.
All rewards will be for use at The Deaf Institute and Gorilla.
