Ensure vital support can continue after loss of funding for over 100,000 children of military personnel who face unique daily challenges
About the project
On 21st May we got the news we had been unsuccessful in our grant application for funds from the Army Central Fund to continue support for Little Troopers, this of course was devastating news for the charity.
As a charity we are solly run by one lady Louie fetigan who volunteers her time outside of her paid job to ensure children of British Armed Forces personnel get age speciifc resources and support to help them cope with the unique daily challenges they face due to being a service child.
The only eligability for our support is a child has a serving parent(s) they do not need to be married, living together, living in military accomodation or their own, reserve or regular forces every Little Troopers belongs and can get tangible help to ase and aid seperation, transistion in schools, repeated mobility.
The charity was born out of personal experience when Louises child Madison really suffered with the repeated seperation from her daddy serving in Afghanistan, Louise searched for support but was consistantly told her child was not in crisis and so the charity was born....listening to families and providing what was required to help these children even in a small way.
Inclusion, Recogntion and Celebration.
We don't want the charity to cease but we NEED your support to enable support to continue, grow, expand and for Louise to concentrate on giving Little Troopers exacctly what they need to prevent them reaching crisis point.
DO YOU NEED US? CAN YOU HELP US BE THERE FOR LITTLE TROOPERS?
