We are David and Jennifer, and Kiki is our 7 month old Chihuahua.
Kiki had a short fall last week and has unfortunately dislocated her left front elbow.
After many expensive x-rays the vet has tried to put the elbow joint back in, however it has come back out again after a few days.
The next step is to see a vetinary orthopeadic specialist who will likely suggest some expensive surgery, costing anything up to £3000.
If we cannot afford this surgery, the cheaper option is to amputate the leg. We are literally trying to save our dog's leg!
Unfortunately, we do not have insurance for her, and because we don't claim any benefits we are not eligible for any charities to become involved.
We would be very grateful for any donations, or for a vet to handle the surgery as a donation.
We are on a short time limit, as every day that passes means the joint could be even more damaged.
