My name is Suzie, I’m 25 years old and I currently work as a mental health support worker from Canvey Island. I am passionate about supporting people with different mental health conditions and I am hoping to become a licensed and registered psychiatrist after completing my professional training with my own non-profit organisation in my future career.
The aim and business model of this organisation is to provide support services and an emergency hotline on a global scale, to vulnerable people from all over the world - supporting those who have various types of mental health conditions including; depression, suicide, PTSD, autism, schizophrenia, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders etc. This charity will also provide palliative care services to the terminally ill and bereavement counselling for the families of the dying.
Eventually, this non profit organisation will have mental health sanctuaries around the world, in countries such as Fiji, Mauritius, Hawaii, Bali in Indonesia, and in Greece which will be like a hotel resort for people to come to stay if they are vulnerable and need help. During my career in this field, I have noticed that there are some places over here in the UK, that support patients who are living with mental illness have become too clinical, which can be intimidating to certain people. Therefore, it is my mission to create an environment that is safe, fun, professional, accessible and wholeheartedly caring and compassionate.
I am hoping that this business venture will provide thousands of jobs globally, particularly in countries where their is a poor economy and the majority of the citizens are living in poverty by 2040.
Although, once these resorts are built and fully open, they will not be for holidaymakers or influencers looking for self-promotion from having a free holiday to an exotic location. These places will be strictly regulated and an assessment will have to be carried out before a new admission comes in via an international flight to a local airport to the location of the resort.
Please help me raise enough money, so I can make this dream a reality! Any small donation that you make will mean an awful lot and it will help us as a global community make our world a better place!
