Hi, thanks so much for visiting my page. I am a single mum of three amazing children and this month I graduated a degree with a first! I'm so pleased, because I never thought I would be able to accomplish further education, having had my eldest son in my teens. It was my goal all along to go straight onto the Masters course from this degree, to train as a psychotherapist. I'm due to start in September and have been accepted to the programme, but I can't pay for it and look after us all without getting into debt. I've always known that I want to work with other families like my own, to help and support them through challenging times and show them there is hope for the future. When I qualify as a psychotherapist, my first goal will be to offer free and low cost psychotherapy to parents who have experienced violence and trauma, to help them resolve their trauma and be better equipped to support themselves and their families. This is because I want to pay back some of the help and support that has been given to me, to get me this far. I want to set a good example to my children and demonstrate to them that with hard work and a commitment to change, anything is possible. Receiving a first in my degree has shown me I am more than capable of completing this final hurdle and it's so exciting! I have also trained as a yoga teacher and I plan to offer yoga alongside my psychotherapy, to provide a holistic and supportive approach to healing. Any amount you can offer, no matter how small, to support my master's costs will be so appreciated. In return I can absolutely promise that my qualifications will never go to waste. I fully intend to use my qualifications to help make the world a better place and to offer psychotherapy and yoga to groups of people that otherwise would not be able to access it. These things helped me. They took me from a traumatised, hopeless young mum with no prospect of a future, and offered me a new life. Please support me in my masters, so I can pass this on to others who desperately need it too.

This work is based on what was missing from my life as a young mum and the ways we as a society can build positive change and healthier families. Please have a read if you have the time.
