Our project will provide outreach work with young people aged 11 – 19 years old in the community who are involved in Anti-social behaviour and Crime. Our project will provide two evenings a week where Youth workers will be visible and available to go out and engage the young people in Buttershaw and Woodisde, in south Bradford, that are involved in crime and committing ASB and by going directly to the young people when they are around and about causing a nuisance.
We will use our minibus to deploy to hotspot. The youth workers engage with and steer these young people in to the youth club where they can participate in positive diversionary activities and prevention work.
The project will make the community safer as the young people will receive full intervention from youth workers and work towards preventing young people being on the streets causing ASB.
