Independent Arts has been helping people across the Isle of Wight since 1987. We deliver arts based activities to support wellbeing in care homes, in community settings and from our own facility in Newport.
More than 1700 people each month enjoy our Singabout sessions, Dance Makers, Singing for Breathing, and many other projects that support body, mind and soul.
We work in partnership with many agencies and charities. Our freelance arts practitioners are all DBS checked and trained to work with some of the most vulnerable on the Island.
Our Newport Peoples Pop Up Gallery is a showcase of the art work produced by our participants as a celebration.
We have gone 'online' through lockdown since covid 19, but are looking forward to opening a new facility soon.
