Sad Girls is a play about three girls, Miley, Lottie and Flo. They have been best friends for as long as they can remember and now they're sharing a shitty London flat trying to find their way and their place in the world. But it's not always easy being 22 and desperate times demand desperate measures. After hard hits of humiliation and rejection the three friends find themselves in Miley's aunt's basement having kidnapped former X-Factor winner Charlie McKinnan. A play about friendship, love and famous pop singers.
Written by a young female playwright Sad Girls a funny yet heartbreaking play, focusing on real issues faced by young people and women in particular today.
We performed a sold out run in London this March and we are now taking it to the Edinburgh Fringe where we will be performing at Greenside Venues at Nicholson Square. We need to raise money to pay for the venue as well as accomodation and other expenses. Any donation towards this would be greatly appreciated!!
