We are going out to Rwanda as a group of 9 pupils to help get streets kids into shelter and survivors of the genocide by listening to their stories and rebuilding their homes. We will be out in Rwanda for two weeks and during our time out there we will attend the school GS Rango, we have a link with this school and we are hoping to bring pupils out to Scotland. We help to rebuild houses and we will visit healing and reconciliation centres where we will listen to the stories of the survivors and the perpetrators and we will learn how they forgive and forget. We work with the friends of jesus project and during this we will be providing them with clothing and essentials and many more other activities. The last time the school went to Rwanda in 2015 it was an extremely successful trip and was very beneficial for everyone involved. We hope to continue visiting Rwanda and helping the people of Rwanda to lead a more succesful life.
