I'm off on a rather long walk! This autumn I am going to be walking from London to Glasgow with a group of 20 other Pilgrims! A total of 487 miles (with a few bonus ones I'm sure), we are going to be walking the Spine of Albion with the intention of listening.
Our project will cumulate in Glasgow where we will be performing at COP26, the UN Climate conference. Along the way we will be listening to the land and people we meet and weaving together a story. We are bringing what we hear to the delegates to impassion them to take meaningful and tangible Climate Action.
This fundraiser is helping me and the other Pilgrims reach Glasgow to share this message.
Half of what you contribute will go towards:
ME - Contributing to some of the equipment that will keep me warm and dry as I walk and camp.
The other half goes towards:
THE PILGRIMS - feeding 30 hungry walkers, paying for campsites/fields, and properly paying some of the artists and experts who are supporting this project
I don't have any money? Is there another way I can help?
You can go to www.pilgrimagefornature.com and give us your messages for the delegates. We are partnering with STILL MOVING to project everyones messages in lights around Glasgow during the conference.
You can walk with us! Either join us en route (route on the website) or walk at home, sharing your favourite paths with us.
