40 years ago! 
Christine a new mum of Alex and later twins Rowan and James began meeting with other new mums in her home, hence 'Open House'. If you are one of those mums you will know the story, how it quickly outgrew her home so they moved to All Saint's Church Hall.
Through all of life's events this group has kept going with Christine at the helm and at the end of this academic
year will be hanging up her paints pots.
There are literally hundreds of you out there who have been involved in this group, mums, dads, grandparents, carers, childminders, cake, tea and craft makers, washer uppers and so many more....would you come and celebrate with us? Say thank you to Christine and the team and welcome Dina and the team for the future?
A fabulous festival is planned, telling and recording the whole story; of which many of you star! The money raised will pay for the professional storyteller, drumming workshop and other music, craft workshops, refreshments and lots more.....If we raise more that is needed for the day the money will be divided among the charities we support, Barnardos, Samaritan's Purse, Children's Society and All Saints' Church whose hall and kitchen we make good use of. Even more money would allow us to support all those in the challenging but rewarding parenting role.
What a story! Our Lives are made up of a million moments, spent in a million different ways. some are spent searching for love, peace, and harmony. Some are spent surviving day to day. But there is no greater moment than when we find that life - with all its joys and sorrows - is meant to be lived one day at a time. (unknown)
