Rox Music And Arts Festival 2016

The 26th Rox Music and Arts Festival needs your help!

Unfortunately, this project was not successful

NB: please note that your donation will not be taken unless our appeal is successful!

Rox is a not-for-profit Registered Charity dedicated to providing performance opportunities and educational experiences in all types of Music and the Performing Arts within the local community.

The annual ROX Music and Arts Festival is now in its 26th year however due to funding and grant cuts, it is ever more difficult.

This year’s Festival will be cancelled unless vital sponsorship is found. For the last 25 years ROX has needed to find in the region of £45,000 per annum to put on the largest FREE music & arts festival of its kind in the UK and putting the spotlight firmly on Bognor Regis.

The annual festival, now in its 26th year is the biggest event on Bognor Regis’s calendar and unfortunately, it’s also the most expensive to facilitate when making sure that no corners are cut in health and safety and that the two days run smoothly and professionally.

Our funding sources are a mixture of local authority grants and private donations from local businesses and residents. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the support we rely on from the local authority, as well as grant sources has been cut leaving us with a huge amount of extra funding to find. We are eternally grateful for the support that we have received in the past but we’re now asking for the whole town to get behind us and make sure that their favourite FREE event survives. We’re calling on businesses large and small and even individuals to rally around the flag and make sure that this unique event is not lost.

The Rox Music and Arts Festival attracts around 30,000 visitors every year and is hugely important to the town’s calendar of events and many traders benefit from the massive influx of music lovers from around the county.
