My name is Rachel, I’m 26 and the owner of Roo’s Bath Box.
My little bath salts were never really meant to turn into a business, I just started making bits that would benefit my own health as my skin was so sensitive I’d always react to shop bought products! When you have a chronic condition like Endometriosis, the last thing you need is to not even be able to have a nice bath!
When my friends and family heard what I was doing & making, they were all incredibly supportive & soon they too fell in love with the salts and all the benefits they had to offer. Slowly and surely I started to sell these and add more products to my collection.
This year we officially became a registered company, we have so many ideas for growth and new products.
Our main focus for the rest of the year is setting up an easy to use and clear website. We hope to do this and be launching our pamper parties and Hen Parties booking system at the same time. For those who don’t enjoy online shopping (apparently it’s a real thing!) we’re hoping to release a small catalogue/brochure
Eventually we will look to recruit party reps to cover locations all across the UK meaning more and more of our amazing customers will be able to access our pamper parties.
We also have lots of new products waiting to go for product approval once fundings been raised. On top of all this we are looking to expand our PJ range & add some new permanent products to our collection.
We are also looking to invest in more advertising, online and locally.
The feedback from customers has been incredible so far and I feel very blessed to have so many support my growth.
Once we have covered all the basics, if we succeed our target or have money left over, we are looking to partner up with a period related company, in the aims to make Period Pamper Boxes, where after every 10 sold, 1 will be donated to our local homeless shelter, helping women in situations like this have access to basic feminine hygeine products.
