In July I will be traveling to Romania where I will help in a project to build a large barn with others volunteering from St Laurence school alongside a charity - People against Poverty. Together we will visit a town called Peris which is heavily over populated for such a small area. The population in Peris mostly consists of orphans, which is one of the main reason we want to help them live an easier and happier life.
The barn will be built close to the orphanage and therefore can be used to store supplies and rear livestock, as a result it will provide a constant supply of food for the children living at the orphanage. Every year a group from St Laurence embark on this trip and slowly we are actively making a difference to many peoples lives who are filled with little hope for their future.
Over half of the Romanian population still live beneath the official poverty line with many families , of often of up to 11, sharing homes the size of the average UK shed.
In order for me to be able to go on this trip I need to raise £420 for the materials required for the build. Please donate to help me help as many people as I can.
thank you in anticipation
