I am so happy you have come to hear the Roar Academy story.
Six months ago I launched the first Roar Academy choir classes in London. My aim was to bridge the gap between amateur choirs and professional training, allowing members to sing, perform and learn in a supportive and fun environment. Following the success of the choir, Roar partnered with Joshua Alamu, vocal coach to the stars, to provide our choir community with pioneering vocal training.
Since founding Roar Academy I am delighted to see the members embrace the Roar ethos, growing in confidence and vocal skill and building a diverse community who loves singing. I want to bring Roar Academy to whole of the UK.
The Roar Ethos

The Roar Community
"If Roar can't teach you how to sing, no one will! If you're interested in improving your technique, building your confidence and start exploiting the full potential within your voice, I highly recommend you give Roar Academy a go now!" - Luca Harb
"Roars studio and staff are all incredibly helpful, passionate, and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my lesson, the tutor was a great teacher, patient and clear, while making sure I pushed myself and got the most of the lesson. I will definitely be coming back to Roar Academy, and would highly recommend it!" - Andrew Lynch
"As a beginner singer, Roar has been very professional and do a wonderful job at putting nervous pupils at ease. I always leave lessons feeling like I'm making progress, whilst also having had a lot of fun." - Daniel Morris
What will we do if we achieve the target?
Achieving a target of £3,000 will allow us to train our first non-London choir master helping fund initial outlay and set up costs. Following on each £500 raised will train up two new tutors and allow us to open up two new choirs throughout the country. We don’t need huge donation but if every one of you could spare £3 we will will meet our target. For the cost of a cup of coffee you will inspire and enable the UK to sing, perform and learn.
