I'm looking to raise funds for vital learning/educational resources for The Walk Centre in Nakuru, Kenya. I remember being at Primary school and having many resources available to support me in my learning, Pens, Pencils, Scissors, numerous work books, rulers, rubbers, staplers, interactive white board and many more... These children are lucky to have 1 pencil and a workbook each year.
I will be travelling to Nakuru, Kenya in March 2018 for a 12 night trip to support teaching core subjects, sport, building and renovation. With it being a short period of time I want to do my very best to leave a lasting impact on The Walk Centre. I'm asking for anything that will support me in providing these children with not only 12 days of smiles but a year full of happiness with good resources to be able to learn as best they can!
The Walk Centre is very close the to local dump, over the size of over 4 x 11v11 football pitches. Majority of the children from the Walk Centre live on the dump with no trainers the protect their feet from all the rubble, glass, plastic.
