This is a lifeline for many people, a way of improving not only mental health but making it easier to discuss. In 2017, 792 million people struggled with mental health issues (ourworldindata). It isn't recognised by most employers as something to be mindful of and have strategies in place to offer help and guidance. But it's one of the top reasons for taking time away from work. Time to open up the conversation and make it easy for children and adults to get help, feel empowered to talk and not feel ashamed.

Many people who struggle with life long mental health problems are clowns on the outside but desperately unwell on the inside - a tool like this will allow people to access a variety of support solutions when they allow themselves to drop the clown act and find a style of support that suits them and not, as often happens, a prescribed solution

As someone who has lost friends to suicide and depression this app is a step in the right direction to supporting people. If it just saves one person from making a devastating final decision it is worth more than the money it needs to be developed. Good luck Tom and the Retune team
