Zoe was just 23 when she passed away after a 14-month long fight against a rare blood disorder. Each day she would have to travel 40 miles to the nearest specialist treatment centre where she would have consultations and treatments often lasting 6 hours or more. After treatment she had to make the 40 mile trip back home feeling absolutely exhausted.
During her lengthy illness she did manage to have just a short break away on the South coast in a caravan. The difference this small break away from treatment in a holiday environment made to her was beyond words. It was as though the weight of the world had been lifted from her shoulders.
Sadly after her break away she only had a further six months of life before her but she was always upbeat and more concerned about the needs of others than her own. It was her wish that she could do something to help others to get through the burden of illness. With your help we can make that wish come true.
Our target is quite big, but every small donation of even £1 will help - in fact if 100,000 supporters could each donate just £1 we will have achieved our target.
