Themes of tolerance and community are embedded in the Mayflower's story. Mayflower 400 and Plymouth Culture are proud to support the Respect Festival, which highlights the on-going relevance of these themes today. 400 years ago the Pilgrims were 'kindly entertained and courteously used by divers friends' in Plymouth; lets make sure 400 years later we all work together to continue make Plymouth a welcoming place for visitors and our fellow residents!

Love the idea of the Respect Festival, always enjoyed it in the past, and can't wait to bring my little foster brother along this year! Good luck with the fundraising x

Ben Wright 10th April 2018

It's a no-brainer. With the way mainstream politics is going in the US and across Europe we need as much exposure for 'respect' and 'tolerance' as possible. Kids need to be involved and to understand how we should really treat each other. Love and Peace x
