'Research': A Short Horror Film

New stretch target

Any extra fund that would be raised would go to future film projects. We will be creating one film next semester, which will be a much bigger production.

Over the course of this last month, our University production company titled Silver Spectrum has been in pre-production for a short horror film. We were challenged by our course to film everything in one day, creating a 3-minute film.

The film is set in 2008, where comic book illustrator writer duo, Manny and Jonno, struggle with the creation of their own story. Manny and Jonno are comic-book fanatics who want to see their own work published one day. Due to their writer's block and frustration with their story, Jonno suggests they go out to find inspiration in an abandoned hospital bunker. Much to Manny's reluctance, the pair travel down underground to explore the lower depths of the tunnels. Here they are greeted by a force that isn't so welcoming.

We are adapting the film from a web comic, that forms part of a 23 episode series 'The Vault of Horror' Be Lee Seung Chan.

We will be filming at the Growing Underground facility in Clapham, as well as our set that we have been designing this past week (photos included). Moses Trevathan and Theodore Crosby will playing Manny and Jonno.
