As many of my close family and friends will know, on Monday 4th January, 2021, it will be a year since my loving husband Keith was tragically killed whilst walking home with Luke our son, after spending an afternoon together watching their local football team Scarborough play.
At the moment, Keith does not have a "resting place" for family and friends to visit and remember him, and we have yet to scatter his ashes.
Given Keith's affinity with the sea and love for his hometown, myself, Kirsty and Luke think it would be lovely to commemorate him with a bench in Scarborough (overlooking the sea if possible).
On the anniversary of Keith's death, as an act of love and remembrance, I will be walking from the site of the accident to a number of Keith and my favourite places, which we loved to visit together. This walk will include Scarborough Castle, the Southside, The Marine Drive, Peasholm Park, The Glen and Scarborough Football Ground.
If you wish to pay tribute to Keith and support me in this act of love and remembrance, you can do so by donating to my crowdfunding page. I will put the money raised towards Keith's bench, and give any additional funds to charity.
