Rehousing Kashmiri family after fire.
We did it
On 5th December 2018 we successfully raised £481 with 21 supporters in 28 days

Meet my friend Lily who was cook in a Buddhist centre. She is close friends of family in India who's house burnt down. She asked me to help.

I work as an actor, film extra, reflexologist, artist's model etc but have had lot of experience in the charity sector. Was once manager of an Oxfam shop and volunteer, volunteer coordinator and fundraiser for London based mobile soup kitchen run by the charity Rokpa. Have also worked for Newham Parent's centre and a couple of other voluntary organisations. Basically we are hoping to raise enough money to build new house for the family. Am in possession of some pictures of the fire and the damaged house after fire was put out and will put these on social media. Can also give updates from the family as the project progresses. Will give more details, as I get them, re a breakdown of exact expenses needed and how the money is being spent. Happy to answer questions through social media. Funds will be sent via Western Union.
