The aim of this project is to rebuild the houses that were destroyed due to the ammonium nitrate explosion that took place in Beirut on 4/8

by Noor MN in Kirkintilloch, Scotland, United Kingdom

On the 4th of august 2020 2,750 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate stored in the port of Beirut exploded.

WE HAVE MANAGED TO FULLY FIX 4 HOUSES FROM THE LAST CROWDFUND. Only £10 can fixe someone's window...

What is our project?

The funds are directly received by a group of young volunteers put together by myself, who recruit building companies and architects assessing damaged houses to start reconstruction and debris management. Most architects and builders are working voluntarily at the moment, however there is only so much you can do without funds. We aim to rebuild as many houses as we can from the 6,200 buildings that were destroyed. Winter is around the corner and many that are left homeless have homes but cannot afford to fix them ...

The clothing brand Ammonium Nitrate is a non-profit clothing line where all the profits are also directly sent to the same project.
