Graduate Fashion Collection
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

My dream; for my brand to become a designer label. Currently creating my graduate collection around the movement of water using 3D printing.

by Rebecca Demetri in Chester, England, United Kingdom

My collection is inspired by The Movement Of Water. I will be creating a haute couture womenswear collection for A-listers who will be attending the latest red carpet events. The collection will be fashion forward experimenting with 3D printing to create a new and unique fashion trend.

I have started by researching the different shapes, patterns and colours created by The Movement Of Water. Splashing, water droplets, vibrations all create unique patterns and a calming aura. Contrasting to this, the movement of water can create a tsunami, destruction and disasters causing an angry stormy atmosphere. I have created different textures to the fabrics using heat to pleat my own fabric.

I will be experimenting with 3D printing when creating my collection. I will not be printing a whole garment but parts of the garment. I have been looking into water freezing and evaporating; this has created the designs, shapes and inspiration for the 3D print.

I believe in myself, my dream and that my collection and my brand will be a big success. I am looking for funding to contribute towards making my dream become a reality.

The funds will go towards the cost of fabrics, 3D printing, a catwalk show to launch my collection, video production and photography to market my collection around the world.
