Seven year ago we had a passion to bring free well-being classes & courses to the people of Teesside who were dealing with depression and emotional issues. Sadly of which there were many as we are highest on the list for addiction and suicides. We felt we could help with these numbers and help people help themselves with any mental/emotional health issues.
So with the help of local funding and the Big Lottery, the Community Organisation www.inward-bound.co.uk was set up and has seen great results, some of which can be seen on our website.
Over the years working in the community, we've met many people trying to deal with stress and depression and it's been a pleasure to be able to help them.
We believe that when the world gets too much, we need a place of sanctuary. Somewhere people get away from the craziness of the world. A retreat that provides respite for the soul.

Prevention is better than cure, so retreating somewhere peaceful, where you can simply BE and recharge your body, mind and soul, plus learning how to do this for yourself is vital in today's world.
The amount raised on the original launch has opened a small unit to get us started, but we still hold the bigger dream of a place with outside space etc.
Any money donated can either be a gift because you simply want to help, or be entered into a draw to win therapies, or workshops when its drawn on 30th April 2021.
