Re-elect Kirsty Blackman as your Member of Parliament on Thursday 8th June 2017.
In 2015 the people of Aberdeen North put their faith in me to be their voice at Westminster. Over the past two years I have taken every opportunity to stand up for our city and our communities and to make your voice heard loud and clear. Since May 2015 my staff and I have dealt with 6469 constituency cases. I have helped people on a range of issues from simple questions to highly complex problems.
I have participated in over 100 parliamentary debates in the past two years, standing up for the people of Aberdeen in parliament and challenging the increasingly right wing Tory Government whose actions are undermining our local economy and public services.
Despite their record, Tory support is growing. That is why I need your support in this election - to keep the Tories out and ensure we continue to have a strong voice arguing for Aberdeen. It was a privilege to be elected to represent the community I grew up in. I have worked hard for the people of Aberdeen North and I want to continue to do so. If re-elected, I will be able to continue the work I am doing supporting businesses and families in my constituency.
If you are kind enough to donate more than £50 to my campaign, your name and address will be checked against the electoral register to ensure that you are eligible to donate. Your name, but not your address, will be made available by the council on request after the election.
