Rang De UK is aiming to raise £5000 by 19th September to meet the Charity Commission requirements to register as a charity. Registering as a charity will allow non-Indian nationals across the globe to get involved with Rang De in its aim to fight poverty through Rang De's unique model of low interest microcredit combined with peer-peer lending and crowdfunding.
The amount raised will eventually be used to support the underprivileged borrowers associated with Rang De. Please do continue your support by pledging to and sharing the campaign.
About the project
Rang De is a web based social initiative working on peer-peer lending and crowdfunding that supports rural entrepreneurs from low income households in India by providing access to low-cost microcredit. We aim to address credit needs for business and education of the low income households we reach out to. Rang De microcredit for business and education is funded by individuals and corporate social investors.
Rang De is already a registered charitable trust in India. To get it registered as one in UK, we need £5000 for the same.
