Incredible Kids provide play and support sessions weekly for disabled or life-limited children aged 0-25 and their families. We offer a friendly, inclusive space full of toys, activities and equipment specifically designed to meet the needs of our families. Our team of trained playworkers are on hand to gently guide and engage children and young people allowing families to either participate together or allowing carers some respite and a hot cup of tea.

Sessions are run at a subsidised rate to families or for free for families facing financial hardship. We rely on donations and income from session fees in order to run the sessions both of which have been disrupted by the coronavirus crisis.

We know how much our sessions mean to our families and so it is our priority to reopen as soon and as safely as we can. In order to do this we need to change the way our service looks. We need to remove large amounts of our hard-to-clean toys and activities and replace them with easy-clean but still sensory stimulating toys. We also need to invest in wipe clean table cloths, hand sanitising stations to ensure our sessions are as low risk as possible to our families.

With a drop in income from the coronavirus crisis and a shopping list of things to buy we are asking for support from our community to help us to achieve all that we need to in time for a planned reopening in the autumn term.

Any donation large or small will help enormously in enabling us to get back to doing what we do best, supporting families and reducing social isolation for disabled children and their caregivers.
