Over the last two years I have contributed a lot of time to work with a small local charity, Planting Hope For Uganda. The charity raises money to support Kittiti, a small village near Lake Victoria. Over the last two years I have helped Raise over £3000 for Cornerstone Primary School so they can build the children a library.
I have been challenged with the task of raising £800 to help towards my expenses to go to Uganda to help establish a working curriculum library at the school and to help them develop literacy skills through storytelling and creative writing. To develop a community project with the local Women's Cooperative and Youth groups and to assist with providing the community with healthcare training in first aid, general healthcare and general health and well being.
In addition to this, I am also organising a sponsored walk along the river and a sponsored litter pick by canoe along the river severn to help me achieve my target of £800.
Please help me to be successful in achieving this target and allowing me to help improve the lives of others less fortunate than myself.
