Dear All,

I am a refugee who is looking to realise his dream of completing an MSc in Marketing and Communications here in the UK. I have been working on this degree for some time and have finished 80% of it, with just my dissertation and 2 pieces of coursework remaining. However, my university have now told me I must pay the remaining £1500 of my fee in order to continue and complete my degree. I am not eligible for any bursaries or extra funding and so I have decided to reach out on Crowdfunder to see if I can raise this amount and fulfil one of the dreams that will help me on my journey to a fulfilling life here in the UK. I am very grateful for any support that people can offer me with this!

Marketing has always been my passion and this is why I initially joined this MSc course. I wanted to work in a marketing capacity in the charity sector (specifically the refugee sector) where I could contribute to bring change to the lives of others. Getting this Master’s Degree will definitely equip me with the necessary tools to better integrate into the current UK job market.

Apart from my degree, at the moment I am doing a marketing internship with a charity called Counterpoints Arts (who work for refugees and migrants), gaining practical experience of and insight into the sector. I am also taking part in a business support programme with TERN. In this programme I am developing a business idea of my own which I hope will become a reality by the end of this year or the start of the next.

I am happy to provide evidence to support the above information.

Many thanks,
