Cajun is raising funds to finish training as a Waldorf Teacher and would love your support!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my crowdfunding page. My name is Cajun and I live in Findhorn, within a thriving intentional community in the North of Scotland. I have spent my career working with children and have been privileged to spend the past four years running activities and programmes for children within my community. In conjunction with this I am responsible for managing and delivering Drumduan's after school programme. Drumduan is a Steiner Waldorf based independent School in Forres. It offers a varied and experiential education for children of all ages. I am a passionate children's educator and have reached a stage in my career where undertaking my Waldorf teacher training will enable me to better support the children with whom I work.

In 2018 by living simply and with the support of a generous benefactor I successfully completed my first year’s teacher training at Wynstones in Stroud. The course has been incredible and the amount of learning and personal growth I have achieved has undoubtedly made every sacrifice in time, energy and commitment completely worthwhile.

I am about to start my second year and without some financial support fear I may not be able to complete my training. I have applied for a loan of £2,500 from the Godparents Anthroposophical Training Fund. This however will not cover all my tuition fees and I have calculated that I will need an additional £2,500 to pay for monthly flights, trains, food and accommodation. I will also need learning materials and resources for the year. All money raised through this page will go directly towards supporting me to cover these costs.

Successfully completing my training will enable me not only to support the children I currently work with but ensure future generations can also receive an education that supports the development of their full potential. Any support you can offer will be gratefully appreciated.

In love & gratitude
