We are a group of students looking to create two new shows which are called PUB(L)IC and Goats and Monkeys and tour them to fringe theatre festivals including  Edinburgh fringe and Brighton Fringe and theatres around London. We have already begun production on the shows but without funding we won't be able to put the shows on. The funding will go towards paying the registration fees for the festivals, travel, accommodation and venue costs.

The plays are written by a member of the company Alice Deighton.

Here is a summary of the plays. Both are heavily focused on social change and challenging the world we live in today.

Girls are a pack, a unit, together we are strongest. Pub(L)ic is a play about 6 young birds in a world of men learning what it takes to be women and fighting for freedom.

Your porn, man space, fluids, media, food, clothing, mansplaining, catcalls and hello beautiful's make me feel like shit.'

Goats and Monkeys.

Before you die you see life flash before your eyes, a sudden realisation of society and the world we live in today occurs in a few seconds before white light and a bus hits.

About Rainy Duck Productions-

What makes Rainy Duck Productions so amazing is that we are a group of young BRIT School students ages 17-18 creating a company that aims to change the world and create opinionated theatre.  The two shows are insightful and will teach people about the world. PUB(L)IC talks about issues with women that aren’t commonly spoken about in society and Goats and Monkeys breaks down society as a whole. I feel these plays need to be brought to the world to show them the messages in the plays. We are also all young performers, directors and writers ages 17-18 and this would be an amazing opportunity to develop our skills and create something amazing. We plan to develop and perform these shows over the next year and create a base foundation for us to build on and create future work.

The company includes-

Alice Deighton- Writer and Producer

Grace Richardson- Director of 'Goats and Monkeys' and actor in 'PUB(L)IC'

Amelia Kingsnorth- Director of 'PUB(L)IC' and actor in 'Goats and Monkeys'.

Zafra Howard- Assistant director of 'PUB(L)IC and actor in 'Goats and Monkeys'.
