Help me continue to make change happen locally and to stand up for the powerless against the powerful.

by Rachel Reeves in Leeds, England, United Kingdom

I feel hugely privileged to have been given the opportunity to represent the people of Leeds West as an MP for the past nine years.

Locally, I’ve battled to keep our libraries open, fought for better public transport, secured more train services at Kirkstall Forge, successfully campaigned to save Bramley Baths and taken on the Government to push for proper flood defences. I always put our community first.

In Parliament, I’ve challenged the powerful as Chair of the BEIS Select Committee. I held the bosses of Carillion and Thomas Cook to account when their companies collapsed, costing thousands of people their jobs. I hold the Government’s feet to the fire too, making Ministers accountable for their bungling of Brexit. I have voted and campaigned for a People’s Vote on Brexit, and for the UK to remain in the EU.

My campaign is people-powered and I would really appreciate your support. Please donate if you can - every donation will help and will allow me to get our message out to as many voters as possible before election day.

With your support, I can continue to make change happen locally and to stand up for the powerless against the powerful. I hope you can be a part of that change by donating to our campaign today.
