After 10 years of writing i am looking to publish my debut novel Postcards from PImlico. This has been chosen, over three other books  because of  its  huge commercial possibilities. My style has been compared to David Nichols on speed , of One Day fame.

Pitch

3 college friends from two different backgrounds and 1 dark secret

From wild times in 1980s London, 25 years later to a reunion in Cheshire

Reunited by tragedy for an evening they'll never forget.

It is a novel about belonging, loyalty and the fragility of friendship.

It is based on actual events. I felt compelled to write the book after a friend suffered the loss of his twin brother just before their joint fiftieth birthdays.

There is more to the novel than the limitless supply of anecdotes and nods to SW! in that era, and the challenge was to weave a thought provoking mystery into the plot. There are obviously nods to the current movers and shakers around Sloane Square and of course comparisons will be made to  C 4's Made in Chelsea. Although the Sloane Rangers  of the 1908s have all but died out now.

I am looking to create a little media frenzy before  book launch at end of April. This involves   PR ,social media, a launch party ,magazine edotorials and general promotional work with restaurants and bars named in the book

Having spoken to one production company the opportunities may be there to make a film or TV  series.
