Project 23

An attempt on the Antarctica Speed Record. An unsupported solo ski of 710 miles from the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole. In 23 Days.

We did it!

On 21st Dec 2017 we successfully raised £1,050 with 12 supporters in 28 days

The South pole is one of the last places on earth where humans can be tested to their physical and mental limits.

Working at an average altitude of 9000 ft is tough but add in the sub zero temps and the gale force winds and you have a climate that humans should not be able to operate in. Yet many adventures see this as the ultimate test of endurance.

I am one of those adventurers.

I am attempting to break the unbreakable record, many have said is impossible, the Antarctica speed record. A solo, unsupported ski to the South Pole from the edge of Antarctica. A distance of 710 miles. The current record is 24 days, I am looking to complete the journey in 23.

I am crowdfunding to help get this project off the ground. A challenge like this requires immense planning and training and with that comes significant cost.  This cost has, in the past, been hugely prohibitive to non-celebrity adventurers. Crowdfunding can change that.

Please help me to take on this huge challenge so I can continue my work inspiring the next generation to achieve their full potential.

Over the last seven years I have spoken to over 50,000 students across the UK. Sharing my story of adversity in my early years and my subsequent recovery from addiction.  My TRUE POTENTIAL came out and I went on to achieve more than I ever thought possible. Most notably my run across the USA in 2013 a distance of 3170 in 100 days.

To reach higher is something that every young person should aspire not just those born into opportunity.

Keep the Faith
