This is in honor of my Grandfather who was in the Observation Balloon Corps. in France from the US in 1918. I am also an LTA pilot. Our small farm in Western Pennsylvania is on Welsh Hollow.

It has just been uploaded. You can watch it here. My SSZ puts in a brief appearance about 5 min into the video.

Sorry but I can't do much right now. There was a photographer at the event, but still waiting for him to upload stuff. I can't fly and film at the same time. I took a few stills before flight, which I would be happy to share, but I don't use facebook (yes I am a luddite), so is them some other way to send them? Yes I would like a copy of the drawings, thanks, even though it is a bnit late to change thinmgs. I am sorry to see the donation total has hardly moved. I hope you get a late surge. regards, Alan

Thank you, Alan, yes that really is a coincidence, can you share a few photos of your maiden flight and the model on our page, please? We would really like to see this as a flying scale model was something we considered for this project early on! Let me know if you want a digital copy of the general arrangement drawings and blueprints to check your model against.

What a coincidence this is. I have just built a model of a SSZ, and the day after I first fly it, I find this project. Of course, I could have used that blueprint earlier on, rather than guestimating dimensions from photographs.
