Create a safe space to explore the world from; using the principles of THRIVE to show that adults can utilise these rules, not just children

by Francesca Elaine in Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom

I am a special needs primary teacher and my partner Thom is a special needs secondary music teacher. We have a vested interest in attachment disorders and have read extensively around PACE and thrive theories. We have a dream of purchasing a van and showing that adults (as well as children) with attachment disorders and other issues can play and have fun. We would like the van to become a safe space to explore and be curious from. We want to photo log our experiences to share with our students and others. We want to promote the importance of lifelong learning, curiosity, play and simple living, no matter what this looks like. Help to start this journey, which hopefully will result in us being able to provide training and learning to other educational providers to explore this concept.
